Beautiful rare breed Teeswater fleece from a prize winning flock in the North Yorks Moors in Northern England.
The colour way is Lovely Lilacs, pale purples, lilacs and pinks.
There is 25g of dyed fleece, the locks are about 10cm long. Teeswater is an amazing wool which you can spin, embellish felt or use to add tassels to scarves and bags or for wizards beards and dolls curly hair.
Dyed in small batches in my studio using dyes which have minimum impact on the environment. After dyeing the wool it is washed in ecover laundry liquid and dried naturally. Because all my fibres are hand dyed if there is a shade you cannot see but would like just ask and I can dye it for you.

All my fibres come from a smoke free home and are stored in plastic boxes with lids until they are posted to customers. There may be some colour difference between the digital photograph and the actual wool although I have carefully chosen the photograph that shows the truest colour of the wool.

Characteristics lustre, longwool, very silky and smooth. I spin it either very fine or round a core yarn to make fabulous art yarn.
