shawl "Gwendolyn" - Hobbyatelier

This shawl is handknitted from handspun yarn following my own design. It is totally a unique item! This shawl has been worn a few times so it is "used" but in great condition.

Design
Handknitted following my own pattern "Gwendolyn". This shawl consists of 4 segments that result in a more-than-triangular shape that will stay put on your shoulders.

Material
Handspun lace yarn consisting of 50% black alpaca and 50% white silk. Those fibers blend together to a shimmering gray. Some transparent beads have been worked into the points.

care instructions
Lace shawls need only little care. If you really need to wash it, soak it in cold water with a mild detergent added (no bleach, no softener). Squeeze out the water. Do not wring! Use a towel to remove more water. Then pin in place and let dry.
