Diary sketch book confession blank journal wooden - LacunaThis middle size diary / blank book is made from antique wood and recycled paper. The life of one bedside cabinet was over but the wood was too beautiful to be thrown away. I preserved the original shape of this fragment , cleaned it from all varnish and treated with bees wax. On the front size I applied old metal perforated piece from old door ( used for ventilation?)
The sheets of recycled paper are bound by coptic stitch so you can flat open it and easily write in. I used stripes of handmade fibre paper for the spine and for the fist page. Once the pages are finished, you have always the possibility to replace them and bound in new ones. This way may this recycled journal serve for eternity...
