Hildegard Bergbauer is now selling her own design and handycrafts for almost 35 years in her small shop in Straubing. Before coming back to her hometown, she was living for 2 years in England, London and 10 years in Paris and South of France,There, she did already embroidery for first class traditional clothes in Provence. It was there, where she has learned all about lace and embroidery handycraft and old styles of any age. She specialized in antique textiles, in hat making and other textile art.
Afghandress from the Kutschinomades - Liberte-Kunsthandwerkwonderful, very special Kutschi-Nomade dress from Afghanistan. entirely handmade with lots of embroidery, although goldstitches and beadwork, very fine handycraft, mirrors sewn on. Skirt is silk violett. The dress is worn in the desert where the Nomades live in their tents with their animal herds.
