SALE - The happy snail yarn bowl in green - Little Wren PotterySnail pottery yarn bowl glazed in forest green. Handmade Stoneware Pottery by littlewrenpottery on Dawanda. The shape of a friendly garden snail decorates the outside of this piece, the curl for your yarn forms part of the inside of his shell. An ideal gift for the knitter who's got it all, this piece would be ideal for double knit yarn, sock yarn or delicate lace weight yarns. Hand thrown on my potters wheel this ceramic yarn bowl has been glazed in natural brown which has a satin texture to the touch. It features a gently bulbed shape and a hole for your yarn to hook into when your knitting. Using a yarn bowl prevents your balls of yarn from rolling around on the floor away from pets or little wandering hands. It's flat bottom will sit firmly on your table and will be approximately 6.4 inches (16.5 cm) in diameter and 3.1 inches (8 cm) in height. Unfortunately as a second this piece does have some slight blistering of the glaze on the outer surface of the pot but it doesn't affect it's functionality.
