1950's Kodak Brownie Bulls-Eye Camera - Juniper Home VintageThis rather quirky Kodak camera is an imposing bakelite specimen! It has a very singular look - it was manufactured by Kodak from 1954-1960, and the design is very emblematic of midcentury, atomic age design - though you can see the popular design aesthetic of the early 1960's is already at work here. This particular camera is in very good vintage condition - a little light wear to the bakelite body and metal face, but no major chips or blemishes. This camera has not been film-tested, but is in good working condition - both winding knob and shutter work well! One super cool thing about the Bulls-Eye - once you've exposed a frame of film, a little lightening bolt pops out over the viewfinder lens - and doesn't go away until you've would the film to the next frame. This is a super nifty way to prevent double exposures. The Bulls-Eye takes 620 film, which is still available from online camera retailers.
Shop FAQ
A special note on vintage cameras Vintage cameras are one of the most frequent and popular items to enter and exit our store. Roll-film cameras have not all been film-tested, but have been checked to make sure their basic mechanical elements are functional (i.e. shutters trip, knobs wind, etc). If we cannot guarantee the basic functionality of a camera we will resignate it to "display piece only" status. However, our knowledge of these cameras is not always 100% complete, and a camera may sometimes be more functional than indicated. Instant film cameras (POLAROIDS) fall into two categories: 600 film and SX-70 cameras HAVE been film-tested and are all functional unless otherwise indicated. Same rules apply as above. Pack film cameras HAVE NOT been film-tested but are checked to make sure their mechanical elements are functional. They are also checked for battery corrosion if required. Further questions?
