It has finally arrived..the first of my corset collection! This beauty is 100% completely HAND SEWN!! That's right all made by my calloused fingers. I am very proud of this piece not only because I managed to sew all of it by hand but also because it is made of 100% real fur and leather!

Now I know that this may bother some of you who have a problem with using real fur but I am Native American and I was raised with a lot of cultural influence. I am accustomed to real furs, leathers and other animal parts so naturally these elements will be found in my work. I hope that you can see the quality in this piece and know that I put a lot of heart and soul into it!

The darker fur appears to be deer hide and the light tan fur is pony. I used raccoon tail to decorate the top, I think it gives a very barbaric feel...don't ya think?

Since I prefer to make corsets with a more traditional technique, I usually do not add a zipper or modern closure, unless the design allows it.

But don't worry; I have tied a knot at the bottom of the strings in a way to where you can easily untie them and adjust the fit. It is done the old fashion way...

When I completed this waist cincher I thought that it looked very Viking and rightfully so! It is strong, majestic and warm. It will make you raise your fits while the sound of epic metal plays in the background. :-p
