Reclaimed Army Trunk/Coffee Table - Arte PoveraVery characterful. Makes a great quirky decorative object / coffee table for the home. I think this trunk was used in the army. The trunk was painted when I found it but the paint was peeling off and it was also in need of restoration. After having extensively sanded it down I re-painted it with a similar colour as the original. I also wash painted it light cream in the inside to add to its character. The trunk also retains all the original cast iron hinges and corners including the front lock. And it also still has the old rope to keep the lid open.
