This is a piece called 'Hopeless love' made from 3 separate blocks so you can space them however you like.

It's a melancholy tale of a bird looking back on his lonely life (although I like to think of it as a companion piece to the hopeful "The Spring", and I hope these two fellows find each other soon!). The text reads:

Hopeless love had dominated his life. "Yes. I feel that" he said.

It's made from paper, paint and birch ply.
Each block is 14cm x 10.5cm x 2.5cm.
