An original pastel drawing, drawn on location looking over to Hoy from Stromness on a May evening, 2008. You can see the warm colours of dusk contrasting with the dark blue shadows on the hills as the sun sets on the island, one of the Orkney islands off the northern coast of Scotland.

The drawing was made using soft pastels on white textured pastel paper (300gsm) and has been sprayed with artists' fixative spray to prevent any smudging in transit or in handling. The artwork ships in a protective plastic wallet within a card-backed envelope to ensure it reaches you in pristine condition.
