Black pottery earrings, all sterling silver. Black pottery is an ancient technique, developed 7,000 years ago. The lack of oxygen in the burning process makes the iron in the clay turn to black iron oxide, and the beads become naturally black. This is not polymer clay and it can't be made in a household-oven.
