The leather for this Mini Journal is a very nice, dark brown suede. It reminds me of dark chocolate. Hence, the name :)

The paper (and thread also) is stained with black tea, crumpled and then flattened again. Now it does have the look and feel of ancient parchment.

I bind this books with strong binders thread (linen). For the wrap around closure I used a - also tea stained - cotton thread and a bronze hook.

Please take the journal shown here as example. There may be little differences in the one you get, but the material always stays the same.
