lutherzeitliches Essbesteck-Messer.

In dieser Zeit war es üblich sein Essbesteck immer bei sich zu haben.
Je nach Bevölkerungsschicht waren dies oftmals sehr schöne Stücke, die in speziellen Essbestck-Etuis/Taschen getragen wurden.

Diese Messer sind Repliken originaler lutherzeitlicher Fundstücke, die ich u.a. auch für das Landesmuseum Halle hergestellt habe.

Das Messer ist komplett handgeschmiedet, ölgehärtet und angelassen.
Klinge, Flachangel und Kronenknauf aus Karbonstahl sind aus einem Stück geschmiedet. Das Griffmaterial ist aus Hirschhorn. Es ist ein elegantes Essmesser, vollintegral und lässt sich mit herkömmlichen Mitteln schärfen.
Nach jedem Gebrauch bitte leicht nachfetten. Karbonstahl ist nicht rostfrei!

Das Messer ist ca. 19cm lang.
