HumanAids is a handmade and limited edition candle in the form of a 3 pound heavy bowling pin with a red aids ribbon around its neck instead of the usual two red rings. The bowling pin is symbolic for the human body: vulnerable and easy to fall down when under attack -for instance by the hiv virus- and for the fact that many people play with their health. The candle stands for hope and for remembrance. This beautiful and extremely limited edition piece was created by Belgian designer Idriz Jossa (www.idrizjossa.be) for Designers against Aids and all proceeds of this sale will benefit DAA to enable them to continue their international aids awareness work.
