André aka Monsieur A: Christmas Charity

Electropop singer Peaches, street artist André, chart breaking band Scissor Sisters, king of extravagant garment Bernhard Willhelm and ecology-minded fashion label Noir customized a range of cell phones for a good cause. The theme for the design was an individual interpretation of their home country. Canada, France, USA, Germany and Denmark are now mirrored on the cell phones.
The cell phones will be sold exclusively in the DAA DaWanda shop before Christmas!

The cell phones here have been customized by André.
André is a living legend in the avant-garde art scene of Paris and Tokyo. He brings
together graffiti and graphics design. He is the founder of the comic icon “Mr. A” and owner of the famous nightclubs “Le Baron” and “Paris Paris” both located in Paris

Designers Against Aids (DAA) is a project of the non-profit organisation Beauty without Irony that was founded to raise Aids awareness in the international media and towards the general public. DAA manages this by asking famous and emerging fashion designers, musicians, artists and other celebrities to create designs that are printed on items such as t-shirts, sweaters, condom boxes, ringbinders etc.
