I'm just in love with this raincoat! It is made from actual bright red vinyl that real raincoats are made from! It has a cornflower blue colored, working, zipper and matching stitching. I used heavy quilting thread, so there's no worries of the stitching breaking. Part of it was machine sewn and part was handsewn. A super little coat for any girl!
Have a girl with long hair? No problem, just twist it up and the hood fits, too!
You can almost imagine the story of Little Red Riding Hood, can't you?!

Also, see the "raw" edge of the red vinyl beside the zipper? Any new coats I make will have a neater and more proper, folded and hemmed edge.
