Product description
This is a print of my original mixed media work, inspired by the french fairytale of 'Bluebeard' by Charles Perrault. It is the story of a mad nobleman who murders seven of his wives and then locks their bodies in a secret chamber. His eighth wife discovers the chamber and has to find a way to save herself from the same fate. I used a combination of papers, including a section of the french text, pencil, aquarelles and acrylic paint to create the original piece. The print is on Canson acid-free paper with high quality epson ink and the image measures 12 cms x 18 cms with a border for framing the print is signed and dated.
