Toddler dress in japanese kimono silk over cotton - Mini BlossomLarard - Hokkaido 2009 - toddler dress Made from a vintage, never-used bolt of pure silk designed for a japanese kimomo. The silk is a very fine, soft and slightly uneven weave in a taupish grey. It has a self-woven beautiful flower creating a chalk pastel effect. (If for a wedding feel free to ask for a fabric snip to be sent to you first for checking the colour.) An A line dress, fully lined with the kimono silk sewn in as the outer layer. The next layer is a fine and transparent white cotton gauze / muslin as a contrasting texture with the tsumugi weave silk. It is lined in white cotton voile. White studs down the back for easy dressing. Machine washable. Very practical. Great on its own and over thermals. Also works well as a long top, later on, over a t-shirt with denim jeans. The picture shows Size 1 year (74). It is available in 3 sizes from 1 to 2 years (refer to the measurements below). Size 3 can be made up ($ 49 each) - please ask for a separate listing. 100% silk outer fabric, 100% cotton under layers. Condition: Brand new with tags. Hand crafted. As a hand-made garment, you may notice qualities and irregularities not present in mass-produced garments. Purchasing this item indicates that you accept this is the case.
