Is it a travel journal? Is it an artists book? Or simply a notebook?
It's entirely up to you, but whatever you decide, your creative thoughts will be blossoming across the pages, inspired by my own original illustrations and images that pop up every now and then within this unique book.

The book was born after I sent myself back some postcards while I was away in Biarritz. But the postcards were 'sent' to famous people who were relevant to me during that trip. Bob Dylan, Sophie Calle, Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin, and Kelly Slater. I then created an image relating to each recipient, and decided to turn these works into a journal format.

The book measures 6" x 4" or 16 x 10 cms and has 50 handcut or torn pages in various sizes and the following assortment;

and a red ribbon bookmark

The cover can be personalised with your name (or the name of someone else if it is for a gift) in the address section.

And to get you started with your scribbling, doodling or scrapbooking, I have included some french goodies for you; 3 vintage written, stamped and franked postcards, a length of vintage lace and some beautiful beach glass I picked up on the trip.
