Description
One of the new designs I've made. I called them faded roses because they sort of have an antique feel to them.
The post is sterling silver while the rose is an oxidized copper. This oxidation effect still lets some of the original copper shine through. I also like the contrast between the black rose and the shiny sterling post. The rose shows some carved leaf detail which you can also see in the pictures. The technique I used was soldering, so the rose is safely attached to the earrings post. Inside the rose there is a little silver dot. The rose has a diameter of 0.7 cm or 5/16".
Also included are two sterling silver butterfly backings.
Thanks for looking! Any questions, contact me.
