I’m thrilled that one can make a real book with only a piece of leather, some strong linen thread, a needle and paper!
The paper (and the thread also) is stained with tea and does have the look and feel of ancient parchment.

Please take the journal shown here as example. There may be little differences in the one you get, but the material always stays the same.

Size: 6 x 8 cm (2,36 x 3,15 inch)
Paper: blank, stained with tea, 120 g/m², 144 pages
Weight: 60g

As with all my books, this one also comes with a little handsigned "certificate of authenticity" so it makes a great present.
