This prized photograph is an original work of art titled "Esoterica", from the series "The Shifting Boundaries and Culture of Manhattan's Lower East Side". "Esoterica" is a photograph of a Bowery storefront 'tableau vivant', suggestive of the Baroque
Style, typified by strong contrasts in values, bold ornamentation, drama & grandeur. "Condition Report: Pristine".

"Esoterica" is an 8x10" (20.32x25.4cm) handmade gelatin silver print {including 1/4" border} on double weight matte Kentmere fiber paper from the UK. The print is signed, titled, dated and editioned 1/10 (The Bowery, New York City Lower East Side) in black, archival, light-fast ink on verso. Notations on verso are "F5.6x10sx2 1/2, Kentmere Neutral, W Dev", written in red China marker.

Awards for this project were made by the Manhattan Community Arts Fund, the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs & the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council. This series also received a Henry Street Settlement/Abrons Art Center Artist-In-Residency award made possible by the Andy Warhol Foundation. The Artist is listed in the ArtFact auction database and has works in both museum and private collections.
