My family has been making fisherman pants for almost 40 years! These fisherman pants that I made are based on traditional Thai pants, worn by Thai people for hundreds of years. They are really comfortable to wear because you can wear them as loose or as tight as you want. And each pair fits almost everybody!

This pair is a new size and especially for those who want some cool comfortable pants to wear. I made this pair of traditional thai fisherman pants out of a dark green 100% cotton fabric. They are approximately 50 (128 centimetres) inches around the waist, and 34 (63 centimetres long) inches long. The belt is 54 inches (137 centimetres) total length, so it'll wrap round you pretty well.

They're great pants because they can be worn as long pants for kids and culottes for taller kids or adults! And they are hard-wearing, will last forever!

If you don't know how to wear pants like this, it's easy. They just climb into the pants, pull them up and then pull the waist to one side (doesn't matter which side!). Then wrap the extra fabric around their waist and then tie the belt around them and around the extra fabric. To alter the length, they just fold the fabric over the belt. And there, they fit perfectly! :-)
