Product description

Kuan Yin ist die buddhistische Göttin des Mitgefühls.
Für die BuddhistInnen ist sie ein Bodhisattva. Das ist ein bereits erleuchtetes Wesen, welches aber auf diese höchste Erleuchtungsstufe vorerst verzichtet, um allen Wesen, die noch Hilfe und Unterstützung brauchen beizustehen. Sie können Hilfesuchenden in ganz beliebiger Form erscheinen. Weiblich, männlich, auch als Tier. Sie stellen ihren Eingang ins Nirvana solange zurück, bis alle Wesen die Erleuchtung gefunden haben. Auf diese Weise zeigen sie ihre allumfassende Liebe für alle Wesen auf unserer Erde und ihre Barmherzigkeit. So entschloss sich auch Kuan Yin in unserer Welt zu bleiben bis alle Wesen erleuchtet sind.
Die Bedeutung Kuan Yins wird so angegeben: „diejenige, die auf die Laute (der Welt) hört“, „die, die das Weinen der Welt hört“, „die Töne der Welt wahrnehmend“, „diejenige, die das Klagen der Welt hört“. Allen gemeinsam ist, dass Kuan Yin in Mitgefühl, nicht Mitleid!, allen Menschen helfen möchte.
