I rescued this vintage set of scrabble letter tiles recently, and I think they make adorable magnets!

These wooden tiles are from a circa 1970's Scrabble board game. The wood has a nice warm color, very smooth and with slightly rounded corners. They have been washed and dried, by the way! A strong ceramic magnet is affixed to the back of each tile (the same ones I use for my button magnets).

These would make a neat gift or unique party favors for a child's birthday party! You can spell out each child's name, or maybe just their initials, and pop them in the goodie bag for a very special surprise. Or maybe you would like magnets with the name of your town, your favorite word, or your favorite person (could be yourself)! The possibilities are almost endless...
