Die mittelgroße Haarspange ist aus Ahornmaserholz gefertigt, sie ist an der längsten Seite knapp 12 cm lang und an der breitesten Stele 3,6 cm breit. Das Holz hat eine ganz schöne Maserung. Die mittlere Metallklammer ist 8 cm lang (Durchschnittsgröße), ein hochwertiges französisches Produkt mit abgerundeten Kanten, damit das Haar nicht verletzt wird. Die Klammer ist an das Holz geschraubt, es besteht eine dauerhafte mechanische Verbindung und kann je nach Bedarf z.B. für LinkshänderInnen umgedreht werden.
