Jemima is a doll I made for adventure! As a child I had an enormous (at least 1.5m tall!) doll also strangely called Jemima.

She was a rag doll with unruly wool hair (a bit like mine used to be!) So I decided to recreate her in miniature (not forgetting to give her a floppy body, stringy arms and a wide-open expression) - so that I could get her to re-live my childhood.

Skipping is something I still do, but the kind you do without the rope and mainly when there’s no-one around to save them from getting nervous rather than avoiding any personal shame!

Printed on ‘Permajet’ Fine Art (archival artist) paper. Acid free with a fine textured (2800dpi) surface. 220gm.

Picture framed (as sold) measures 118mm x 155mm and the print itself is 80mm x115mm.
