An exotic blend of vanilla, cinnamon and ylang ylang giving a warm and sensuous experience. The soft lather is accentuated with the addition of real silk fibres giving a truly silky soft feel.

I have used vanilla essential oil for wellbeing, cinnamon for cleansing, comforting and skin conditioning, and ylang ylang for its uplifting and relaxing potential.

Ingredients: olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, castor oil, shea butter, vanilla, cinnamon and ylang ylang essential oils, tussah silk.

Tussah Silk is indeed silk but is considered acceptable as vegetarian as no insects are actually killed in the collection of the silk. The silk is collected after the insect no longer has a use for it. It is not farmed silk.

No animal products are used and many ingredients are organic. The main ingredients I use are:
Palm oil – which helps to make the soap hard and extends shelf life.
Coconut oil – which boosts lather.
Olive Oil (pomace grade) to pamper the skin.
Shea Butter - has a good moisturising effect and may help with healing (based on its vitamin A & E content).
Castor Oil - a great addition to many recipes for its humectant properties. A humectant is a substance that attracts and holds moisture, thus giving a moisturising effect to the skin.

If storing soap, keep in a cool dry place to maximise shelf life. Natural preservatives are used in Blue Marmalade soaps, however, please use products within 12 months of purchase for maximum enjoyment.

NB - The surface of these soaps may sometimes appear to be either moist or have beads of oil. The beads that you see are in fact beads of glycerine attracting the moisture in the air demonstrating just how much glycerine is contained within the soap. If it works this will as a moisture retainer in the soap - think how well it could work on your skin!
