Decadent, velvet soft nubuck leather, in a rich dark raspberry colour. Handsewn accents and handle. Matching purse which clips inside, but can easily be removed. The handle is long enough to carry on the shoulder and fit across the body (though a taller person might need a longer strap, which can be proved on request).

Nubuck is a finish applied to the top layer of leather, giving it a velvety appearance and handle. It is a higher quality leather than suede as it uses the upper surface rather than the 'split' side. It is extremely durable and less likely to sag, distort or tear than suede. But like suede, it can easily be stained and rubbed. The best way to refresh nubuck is with a rubber 'brush' or rub gently with very fine dry sandpaper
