Yellow Gingham Taffeta Gown - 3 X The LadyThis is a brand new, hand made, period correct civil war ball gown. It is made of gingham taffeta, with solid taffeta binding and bias around the fully boned and lined top, and the tabs on the skirt. The sleeves, neckline, shoulder straps and skirt tabs are all edged with 3” beaded trim. The top has drawstring 3” lace with insert at the neck the same lace is used on the gathered, off the shoulder sleeves. It has full lacing with rattail cord up the back, and is made to be worn over a corset and full hooped slip. This is a Simplicity size 18 with a finished bust measurement of 40/42” and waist measurement of 32/34”.
