Product description

Wampum has been used for jewelry and trade for centuries by Native American New England Tribes. The wampum is made from the inside of a quahog shell, it is a tedious process to remove, cut and polish the inner shell to make it jewelry quality.

This beautiful wampum pendant is encased in .925 sterling silver and hangs on a sterling silver bail. I have used genuine amethyst briolettes and individual sterling silver beads to create this necklace which enhances the pendant.

To complete the piece I have used a 50mm sterling silver chain to which I have attached an amethyst drop as a fob. The sterling silver hammered hook clasp makes the necklace easy to fasten and secure.

This necklace is adjustable from 43cm to 48,25cm.
