This is a modern and classic charming ring.
This lovely transparent yellowish green to deep chartreuse peridot stone was a favorite of the ancients, who considered it quite a powerful gem. An aid to friendship, it was also believed to free the mind of envious thoughts. And, if worn on the left arm it would protect the wearer from the evil eye. To produce rose gold, gold is alloyed with copper to give it a warm pink hue.(RG1220).
