This shot was taken in Kyoto of a beautiful woman in a gorgeous kimono. Kyoto is the old capital of Japan and old customs and traditions are exhibited in everyday life and it is not uncommon to witness women dressed in beautiful silk kimonos, even on the hottest of days.

The woman's expression appeared as if she was lost and wandering around the ancient roads of the city.

This photograph is part of the 'Dentō' series which means 'tradition' in japanese.
