I live in the beautiful southern Harz in Saxony/Anhalt.
I love the nature, the plants, the animals, the blue sky and the sunshine, my family and my craft.
I like things that are different, things that you can't find on every corner, I like it fancy, unique, weird, preferably made of natural material, because that's durable and timeless.
I love to make unusual things, I have to let off steam with my creativity.
I have been crafting with passion for many decades. At that time, there was no Internet, and in the shops there was only the currently trendy mass-produced goods. So, I thought to myself, if I can't buy what I'm looking for, I'll just do it myself.
Crocheting, knitting, embroidery, sewing, crafting, all this has interested me since my teenage age. The first years for my family and for me, then friends and acquaintances asked where I got my jewelry from.B.
This was followed by the first orders and it didn't take long for the first offer to make a stand.
And then came the Internet. After thinking for a long time, I am not a computer genius, I decided to go to an online shop.
My customers have persuaded me to use the term "arts and crafts" by referring to my works as art. This is an honor for me and makes me very happy. That was also what encouraged me to turn my hobby into a profession.
I continue to sell from time to time at the booth. Personal contact with people, being outside, is very important to me. Here on the Internet you feel a bit lost in this regard. Nevertheless, I do not want to be behind the times, because, unlike at the booth, or in a shop, you can reach a lot of people here, not only nationally, but worldwide. This is a great advantage if you live in a small town. So I have already been able to supply customers from different countries here. If, for example.B. customers from the USA or Australia buy my items and then tell me by e-mail how enthusiastic they are about my work, it is an incredibly great feeling for me. My works travel the world to bring joy to people, which is already a reward for my craft.
I make bags, pouches, cases, jewelry and more, mainly from leather, but also from other materials. I like to experiment. I only use mechanical tools. My sewing machine for kicking comes from the 50s, which my grandmother left to me, from an old cobbler I have a spindle press, my husband, who is also a craftsman, I kidnapped a small anvil. These old tools are faithful and reliable, nothing will break for decades.
I work alone, design everything myself, implement my own ideas. My creativity unfolds at work. I rarely look specifically for material, with the exception of the things I always need, such as various metal parts, e.B rivets and eyelets or rings and buckles etc., of course also the leather. A lot of things for decorating or things for jewelry I find by chance in nature, on a stroll in holiday resorts or on a city stroll in big cities. Not infrequently, I am inspired by things that are actually made for a different purpose. You will find e.B. with me jewelry with pendants, which are actually not chain pendants. This always creates unusual unique pieces, which are always made with love and care by me.
It's so easy to stand out from the crowd. Everyone is individual.
A simple outfit never looks boring with an eye-catching unique accessory, a necklace that not everyone has, or a bag that you can see is not mass-produced.
I hope I was able to make you curious to stroll through my shop. All my items are already manufactured and ready for shipment by me. Maybe you like one or the other, maybe you will discover a suitable gift for a person who is close to your heart, who actually already has "everything". What you can't have enough of is joy, that's what giving is all about, that's what giving yourself is all about.
If you have any questions, feel free to write to me, I will answer until 10 p.m. the same day, after 10 p.m. the next day, thanks to the smartphone that incoming messages are reported immediately.
I look forward to seeing you!
