Hi and welcome to the DeShawn Marie DaWanda Store. Thank you for taking the time to browse and consider purchasing my soap. This page informs you of policies and procedures I follow for business on DaWanda. It helps eliminate any confusion so please take the time to read it if you have any concerns.

************IMPORTANT INFORMATION***************
I strive to make a high quality natural soap. I use the finest of ingredients. For fragrance I use mostly essential oils, but I do use some fragrance oils. I choose the highest quality oils available from many different regions around the world. I pick some of my own herbs and I buy all natural products. I have not had anyone report any reactions to my soap, but this does not mean that no one will have a reaction. Everyone's skin is different and you must test soaps as you would anything else. If you are known to have sensitive skin or allergic reactions then please test the soap on a small section for a few days prior to using all over. I get my ingredients from many different countries and some times ingredients from one region are different from those of another so I can not guarantee you will not have a reaction and I am not liable for any such reaction.


Cancellation and return policy

Hello and thank you for considering the purchase of my soaps. Please read my policies prior to purchase to make sure there will be no confusion or misunderstanding. Thank you.

I do not accept any Exchanges or Refunds on opened items.
I do not accept any Exchanges or Refunds after 7 days.
If you would like to return or exchange an item you are responsible for all shipping charges and the safe return of any product. If I receive a damaged package back I will not replace it or refund money. If there are any questions please ask first as I'm sure we can come up with a good solution to any problem.

***INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: I DO NOT ALLOW REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES ON INTERNATIONAL ORDERS******

Cancellations: I accept cancellations as long as they are prior to me paying for shipping and packaging up the shipment. Once I have packed it and printed the shipping label then I will not cancel the order and will expect to follow through with the purchase.


Postage and payment policy

At the moment I only accept payments thru PayPal. PayPal is the safer, easier way to pay and get paid online. I have found it to be the best way to exchange money for online transactions.

8.25% TAX IS CHARGED TO ORDERS SHIPPED TO NEW YORK AS THIS IS WHERE MY BUSINESS IS ESTABLISHED EVEN THOUGH I SHIP FROM MASSACHUSETTS NOW.

SHIPPING:
I guarantee that I will get your purchase processed, packaged and shipped in a very timely manner. I carefully package your order and ship within 1-2 business days. When I am not too busy orders go out same day. I do not ship on weekends or holidays, so if you place your order on Friday it will not ship out until Monday.

**** During HOT weather times, soaps may become oily or greasy upon delivery. If that's the case just unwrap them and let them sit at room temperature for a couple of hours, put in the refrigerator for a bit if necessary. This is due to the natural glycerin in the soap****

I ship all orders from Brighton, MA. Shipping times vary, but you can follow this general chart to estimate delivery time:

US East Coast: 1 to 2 days
US Midwest: 2 to 3 days
US West Coast: 3 to 4 days

Canada and Mexico: 3 to 7 days

Everywhere else: 5 to 14 days

again these are estimates, if you have not received your package in a timely manner then please contact me and we can track it down.

I add a delivery confirmation to packages so that we can track it. If you like you may add insurance to your package to ensure safe delivery. Just be sure to let me know prior to shipping. I recommend purchasing insurance for any purchases over $20. In any case if you have not purchased insurance I am not responsible for these items once they have left my hands.

ON ALL INTERNATIONAL ORDERS I REQUIRE INSURANCE TO BE PURCHASED.
