Friends, sleep overs, roller coasters, ice cream with no concern for calories. Do you remember those days? Do you remember curfew being your biggest concern? Before bills, rent, and insurance we were youthful. We wore and made friendship bracelets, We played and laughed and had high hopes for the future and couldn’t wait to be “grown up”.

Now here we are in adulthood reminiscing about easier times. We don’t want to go back to living with our parents, but we do wish for the skin, freedom, friends and summers we used to have.

My bracelets are handwoven reminders of the youth we can not regain. They are made with the same 100% Cotton DMC brand embroidery floss that we used as kids. I use a loom that my mother and I built in the garage where I grew up. I pre-shrink all of my bracelets so they won’t shrink on you. Wear them in the shower if you want. And they come with a snap closure because I know you will love them, but you will want to take it off before it rots off. :)
