General Terms and Conditions

§ 1 Scope, customer information

The following general terms and conditions govern the contractual relationship between KabiKaba - Kristina Billhardt and the consumers and entrepreneurs who buy goods through our Etsy shop. Conflicting or deviating terms and conditions of the entrepreneur are not recognized by us. The contract language is German.

§ 2 Conclusion of contract

(1) The offers on the Internet represent a non-binding invitation to you to order goods.
(2) After entering your data and by clicking on the order button, you make a binding offer to conclude a purchase contract.
(3) We are entitled to accept your offer within 4 days by sending an order confirmation by e-mail. After fruitless expiry of the period specified in sentence 1, your offer is deemed to have been rejected, i.e. You are no longer bound by your offer.

§ 3 Customer information: Storage of the offer text

The text of the contract with information about the article will not be stored by us.

§ 4 Customer information: Correction notice

You can correct your entries at any time before placing the order. We will inform you about your correction options on the way through the ordering process.

§ 5 Return costs in the event of revocation

In the event of revocation, you must bear the costs of the return if the delivered goods correspond to those ordered and if the price of the item to be returned does not exceed an amount of 40, - Euro or if you have not yet provided the consideration or a contractually agreed partial payment at a higher price of the item at the time of revocation. You also only have to bear the regular costs of the return. Additional costs arising, e.B. due to a change in our place of business or due to the use of expensive transport services desired by us, shall be borne by us.

§ 6 Retention of title

The object of purchase remains our property until full payment has been made.

§ 7 Warranty

The warranty is based on the statutory provisions.

§ 8 Limitation of liability

We exclude liability for slightly negligent breaches of duty, provided that these do not concern essential contractual obligations, damages resulting from injury to life, limb or health or guarantees or claims under the Product Liability Act are affected. The same applies to breaches of duty by our vicarious agents and our legal representatives. The essential contractual obligations include, in particular, the obligation to hand over the item to you and to provide you with ownership of it. Furthermore, we have to provide you with the item free of material and legal defects.

Shipping

All prices quoted are final prices plus delivery/shipping costs.
Any customs duties are to be borne by the buyer himself.

Due to the small business status according to § 19 UStG, we do not charge VAT and therefore do not report it.

Delivery takes place exclusively against prepayment (bank transfer or PayPal).

DISPATCH

How are your shipping costs calculated?
Under the term "shipping fee" we summarize all costs that are related to the dispatch of a delivery. These are both the postage costs, but also costs for packaging material, shipping documents, transport of the delivery to the post office, and and and and...
We do this in order to be able to make the prices of our items fair. That means: We
do not include hidden shipping costs in our item prices. After all, customers who order several items at once should pay the shipping costs only once.

Do you also ship to Packstations?
Naturally. All we need is your Packstation address. You can specify these e.B. as a shipping address in the checkout or subsequently until the time of shipment as a comment on your order.

When does the shipment take place?
As a rule, shipping takes place on the working day (Monday to Friday, except Bavarian holidays) after receipt of payment. Should this not be the case (e.B. because the article has yet to be manufactured or individualized according to customer requirements), we expressly point this out in the article description.

How quickly do you ship items that are out of stock?
If you have purchased an item that is made especially for you, your
Order in production as soon as we have received the amount. Depending on the order volume, we need a maximum of 9 working days, but usually much less.
As soon as your order is ready and shipped, we will let you know again.

I need the ordered items very urgently!
Items in stock will be shipped on the first day of dispatch after receipt of payment. Since we ship on all working days and do not limit ourselves to certain days, this is also very fixed.
In order to speed up the process even more, we recommend paying by PayPal in very urgent cases. So the payment arrives in no time at all.

Can I have an item sent to a shipping address?
Naturally. Simply enter the desired address as the shipping address in the checkout process.

Can I have an item sent as a gift?
We are happy to do this for you. Since in this case we do not enclose the invoice of the delivery to the recipient, we need an email address from you (e.B. as a comment on the purchase process). So we can send you the invoice by email/PDF.

My item has been marked as shipped for days, but hasn't arrived yet
Especially at weddings, such as .B just before Christmas, it can unfortunately happen in exceptional cases that the post office takes longer than usual to deliver all the many deliveries. However, if the delivery does not arrive for more than 5 working days, there is a high probability that there will be an error. In this case, please contact us.

PAYMENT

How do I pay?
We offer two ways to pay: by bank transfer or PayPal. The necessary details will be sent to you with the order confirmation as

Can I always pay with PayPal?
We do not believe in making payment via PayPal dependent on the amount of the purchase amount. Therefore, every purchase can be paid for with PayPal, regardless of the amount, without us charging a "minimum quantity surcharge" or the like.

Isn't PayPal an incredibly expensive payment method?
This is not entirely inaccurate. However, many of our customers want to hold their delivery in their hands very quickly. For this reason, PayPal is an important service for us.

Can I still change the payment method after the purchase?
Naturally. Just let us know by message about the sale or by e-mail to mail [!at] kabikaba.de. We will then provide you with the necessary payment information.

Will I receive an invoice?
Of course, the delivery is also accompanied by the corresponding invoice. If you do not want this (e.B. because it is a gift that is sent directly to the recipient): No problem. Just let us know and give us an email address to which we can send the invoice by email/PDF.

RETURN

If I don't like an item, can I return it?
Of course, you have a 14-day right of return, no matter for what reason you do not want to keep the items. The details can be found in our cancellation policy.
Only items that are specially made according to your wishes are excluded from return "due to dissatisfaction".
