~~ABOUT THE PRINTING METHOD AND DURABILITY:~~
Currently I offer one side black printing. Labels are printed on Thermal Transfer Printer using highly durable resin laundry ribbons.
Printed satin labels will withstand washing to 60°C and dry-cleaning but will fade slightly after many washes.
Printed nylon labels will withstand washing to 95°C and dry-cleaning. They will not fray and will not fade.
Rub, smear, domestic chemicals and alcohol resistant.
~~ABOUT THE MATERIALS:~~
My labels are printed on coated Nylon and Satin ribbons.
Satin is a weave that typically has a glossy surface and a dull back. It is a warp-dominated weaving technique that forms a minimum number of interlacings in a fabric. If a fabric is formed with a satin weave using filament fibres such as silk, nylon, or polyester, the corresponding fabric is termed a satin, although some definitions insist that the fabric be made from silk.
Satin labels are ideal for all kinds of garments, perfect for lingerie, etc.
Coated Nylon is a low cost general purpose material which can be printed on one side only. Excellent for transfering 300 dpi graphic images and barcoding.
