Silver Sun Alpacas is located at the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley in southern California. Our small herd of 26 alpacas are sheared once a year, in spring (April-May), before the hot summer days are in.
Silver Sun offers a selection of raw fiber, hand spun and mill processed yarn and handmade knits used from our own alpaca's fiber. I also like to handdye and make beautiful batts on my drum carder and handspin on my Kromski, Minstrel.
