Hello! Welcome to Swiedebie.
I am the designer of Swiedebie, and my name is Swee Leng. I grow up in a family of creative and artistic people, and love art and design since I was very young. My mother used to work as a dressmaker and designer from home, and since I was very little, I stayed by her side to watch her draw, cut, sew and fit on many customers who patronized her little atelier at home. This passion of hers grew in me. Then on when I graduated from high school, I pursued fashion
design and merchandising in a college and it became my specialized trait for nearly 10 years. When I moved from Singapore (my homeland) to The Netherlands to start a family of my own, I decided to start Swiedebie.
As you can see from my collections, I love fanciful, adorable, crazy and whimsical designs that give a strong positive note. I also love colors and am not afraid to use them on my designs. In addition, the culture, people and lifestyle of The Netherlands have greatly inspired and bring best out of me - my sense of humor, fun-loving nature, and creativity. :D Besides being a full time mother, I dedicate some time of the day to this registered business of mine. With this time, I will research, sketch, design, cut, sew, sell, market and package my products to the consumers and retailers. Swiedebie is my passion and my love, which is already a part of my life. This business has taught me to grow not only as a designer, but as a person as a whole. I enjoy doing what I do, and establishing good relationships with my fans and customers become an important part of my social and professional circle.
