Over 80 years ago our grandfather founded this weaving mill together with Max Windrath, which we are operating in the fourth generation today. For sure this is another reason why we have a special concern to keep up with the regional tradition of the trade of weaver here in Wuppertal Barmen, Germany.

Despite new modern label printing procedures we still trust and believe in the one of a kind high quality and also prefer the esthetics of our woven labels, which we could produce you within 48 hours thanks to our local machine park. At this procedure we just use certificated cotton yarns which stand up wash cycles up to 95 Degree Celsius (which is equal 203 Degree Fahrenheit) without color fading nor bleeding. We do observe the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 along the textile value-added chain, which guarantees low-emission quality and innocuousness for our customers and us.

Despite increases in cotton prices we still are remaining faithful to this material therefore it is much more kind to the skin than synthetic yarns. Thanks to the sleekness of the material, our woven labels are ideally suited for allergy sufferers, elderly people as well as little children, or everyone who is tired of scratchy labels at the back of the neck or the waistband.

Especially as a producing company we stand for saving and preserving humans and our environment. Therefore we are not willing to support the pollution of our environment through conventional cotton wool production, we only buy from oeko-tex certified productions. Additionally our cotton wool is picked by hand and fed by rainwater, which means that it has not been artificially watered. Our packing materials are made by recycled materials and our weaving looms are operated through green power.
