    Animesh Roy (b. 1968) is a painter based in both India and Europe. With a degree (Bachelor of Fine Arts [BFA]) from Delhi College of Art, India (1986-90) has held over twelve solo shows and numerous group shows. The artist's impressionistic style is characterised by visible, expressive brushstrokes, and a painterly impasto. Prefers to paint in oils in small and large sizes alike and in varied genres viz. Abstract, Figurative, Floral, Landscape, Still Life etc.
