Terms & Conditions

Quality Guarantee:
I guarantee the workmanship to be of professional quality and free of defects.

Fit Guarantee:
Your garment is guaranteed to fit the measurements provided to us. I strongly recommend that you have a professional tailor/seamstress take your measurements. You agree not take the measurements by yourself. If you are unable to have professional measurements taken, it is best to have assistance. I am not responsible for inaccurate measurements. All garments will be created according to measurements provided by you. If garment does not fit, it is because the measurements provided were inaccurate and therefore, I am not responsible or obligated to make any adjustments regarding fitting. However, I am ALWAYS willing to help you with the dress if it does not fit you right for an additional fee.

Communication:
Deconstructress Designs agrees to be communicate all questions in a timely and considerate manner. The client agrees to communicate any questions or concerns in a timely manner throughout the design and construction process.

Payment:
Payment in full must be made before the work begins on your costume/gown.

Delivery of completed garment:
Deconstructress Designs agrees to deliver your garment on or before the requested delivery date. If you do not specify a delivery date, please allow at least 8 weeks for delivery.

Rush Order:
A rush order can be made for an additional 25% of the total cost plus any extra shipping fees for express shipping. There are times when we can not accept rush orders, so please contact meus to request a rush order.

Beginning the Process:
Once I receive your payment, these Terms and Conditions will be in effect. The materials will be ordered for your gown immediately and all work will begin on your garment. We will remain in close communication with you throughout the design process.

Garment Care:
It is recommended that your item is only cleaned by a reputable dry cleaning facility. Due to the nature of the painting process of these garments, it is important that you explain the process when leaving the item with a dry cleaner. However, the painting process is permanent once it is heat set, so there is no possibility of fading or loss of color/texture during the cleaning process once it has been heat set.

Disclaimer:
We are not responsible for any accidents or injuries that may occur while wearing any garment manufactured by us. You are responsible for your own actions and agrees to hold Deconstructress Designs blameless.

Cancellation and return policy

Cancellation:
Once a project has begun, it cannot be cancelled unless you are willing to forfeit 30% of the original cost.

Returns:
Because most of my dresses are custom made, returns are tough. I keep in close touch with you while making your dress and send pics before mailing it to you. It is so important that you get correct measurements because the dress is made based on the measurements you give me.

If you receive the dress and feel it is nothing like what you wanted, please contact me and we can work something out to make both of us happy.

Postage and payment policy

I am in the United States and will be happy to ship in any form you desire at actual shipping cost only.

Payment is expected before work will begin on your garment.
