What is FunnyGames Redesign?
FunnyGames is irony, anarchy and deconstruction.
It’s unrestrained, postmodern playing with styles. It’s new understanding of design, untainted with brag and buffoonery.
It’s provocation with a pinch of black humour and a challenge to both traditional, noble furniture-making and swanky, vitra-like design.
It’s fun and unpretentiousness.
Who are we?
We are a group of young and passionate designers from Łódź who are swimming against the
tide. We distil the best elements from the old, eclectic furniture-making, we mix it with modern, minimalistic design and spice it up with some punk aesthetics and then stir it all hard. Voila!
What do we do?
Most of all, we do redesign and untypical, twisted renovation of old furniture and objects. We also create new elements of interior design, combining classical and modern aesthetics. Our area of interest is also stage design and space arrangement.
