Our product is made of upcycled plastic bags.
They have a special texture, a nice handfeel, and the final product keeps the waterproof and lightweight characteristics of the plastic. Thus, making the bag easier to carry without adding extra weight for the wearer. The patterns are inspired by origami and solid geometric principles, taking advantage of them in order to make the product more functional and aesthetically pleasing.

The goal of upcycling is to prevent potential waste by making new products out of existing things. Recycled plastic tends to suffer phase-separation through the production process, which causes structural weakness in the final product but using a fusing technic for the plastic bags, we obtain a more resistant material, but at the same time flexible.
One of our subjects is, that no scrab is too small and that any good product design and production can be accomplished in a better, smarter, and more socially and environmentally sustainable way. This is what we keep working on every day.
Our work is inspired by an urban discourse: the use of waste materials such as plastic bags and the formulation of the raw material towards the experimentation on shapes and production.
It could be said that there is a differentiation and redistribution of the parts and function of a certain object, as a result of inversions, displacements and accumulations. But also there is a revisit to everything that is considered as “waste products” of a functional social structure (everything that is not longer used or of no aesthetic or psychological value).
Our main interest is to invent a new view on the dark and misty ambience of the industrial cities and the controversial identity of the people who live in them. Because the habitants are what makes a city and of course, clothes and accessories are a prolongation and reflection of oneself and ones lifestyle. They need to be functional, comfortable, ready for unexpectates, and beatiful in every moment in a life. We are encompassing clothing with ideology.
