NEW: I use 2 different qualities of metal beads now:
1) Silver-plated/ gold-plated and confirmed nickel and lead free. They are made from high-quality pewter and crafted with mastery and care for detail. The manufacturer submits representative samples of its cast pewter products for testing on a regular basis, and the products are repeatedly being confirmed as both lead free and nickel free.
2) Silver-and gold-coloured, according the supplier nickel free. These are the inexpensive and

widely available beads - typically produced in China, Hong Kong or Singapore.

In addition to that, I mainly use 925 sterling silver ear wires. Please, check the product descriptions for exact information on each product. Non-silver ear wires could be upgraded to 925 silver (a small fee applies).
