--- warranty ---
Warranty of my products extends for three months from the date of sale, by which time any flaws or manufacturing faults should have become apparent. Please contact me as soon as possible if you discover a problem to discuss this.

Note that items which appear to have been damaged by an accident on your part or by general misuse are not considered to be faulty.

As per notices in my product listings, as I individually hand make all of my jewellery there are likely to be minor differences from one piece to another, even for the same design. This should be considered part of the beauty of handmade work as no two pieces are ever identical.

However, if the piece you purchase is substantially different to that photographed in the listing, please contact me to discuss this.

--- refusal of sale ---
While it is extremely unlikely to occur, I do reserve the right to refuse a sale for any reason. Should this happen any payment made will of course be refunded as quickly as possible.

--- pricing ---
Pricing of items for sale and shipping costs may change at any time without notice.

--- reselling ---
Please note that it is a condition of sale that commercial resale of my products is not permitted without prior negotiation with me. Please contact me if you wish to discuss reselling.

--- copyright ---
All of my work, including but not limited to text and images, is protected by Australian and International copyright law and is not licensed without my permission, including upon purchase of my products.

Cancellation and return policy

Of course I want my customers to be happy, so if for any reason you would like to return your purchase from me, you may. However note some limitations apply and you are required to contact me first.

--- general returns ---
I'm happy to accept returns of general stock items for any reason if you contact me within 14 working days of placing your order. Items must be returned in the condition in which they were sent to you and earrings in particular must not have been worn.

--- return of custom-made items ---
Items you have asked me to custom make or extensively alter for you cannot be returned.

--- postage costs ---
Unless the return is due to an error on my part, postage costs cannot be refunded and you will also need to pay for return postage for any exchanged items.

--- faulty items ---
Faults are very rare, but if you wish to return an item due to a fault with the product, please contact me as soon as possible to discuss this. Note that such returns generally cannot be accepted after three months of purchase, by which time any faults should be apparent.

Finally, items which may have been damaged by misuse may not be returned as faulty.

Postage and payment policy

--- order turnaround time ---
Generally I aim to have orders turned around within 1 to 2 working days of receiving payment. If there is a delay for any reason I will contact you.

If you urgently require your order please contact me to discuss this.

--- general shipping ---
I post items from Sydney, Australia by Australia Post, using airmail for deliveries outside of Australia and Parcelpost within Australia.

Delivery to most locations outside of Australia generally takes between 3 to 8 working days. Delivery within Australia is usually within 2 to 6 working days.

Delays are rare, but they may occur for reasons beyond my control, including checking by your local customs officials.

--- packaging ---
My orders are mostly shipped in small boxes which both protect your purchases and should be thin enough to fit through any letterbox. If you order a large number of items or some of the few larger pieces I sell, the box I use may need to be larger.

All jewellery purchased is also wrapped to help protect it.

--- tracking and insurance ---
Tracking of parcels is not available from Australia without paying exorbitant international courier charges (from US$60).

Also costs of insurance are high enough that I do not include these in my standard shipping prices.

Should you wish to purchase insurance for your delivery, please contact me asap after placing your order to arrange this. Note that the starting cost for shipping including insurance will be approximately US$17.00.

--- missing deliveries ---
Generally deliveries are reliable from Australia and it is very unusual for items to go missing in transit.

However, if an item you have ordered from me has not arrived within 8 working days, I would ask that you wait another couple of working days prior to contacting me as it may well arrive during that time.

If after that time your order still has not arrived, please contact me to discuss the matter. If you purchased insurance for your delivery I can undertake a claim asap and replace your order. Otherwise I make decisions on a case-by-case basis.

Note that all of the customs forms for my orders are scanned and I retain copies of the numbers for each international delivery, helping Australia Post to investigate missing parcels after some time has passed.

--- customs and import duties ---
Unfortunately I have no control over any duties which may be added to the cost of your parcel by your own country's customs officials. As the importer, it is the responsibility of the customer to pay any such duties which may be applicable.

However, note that the vast majority of my deliveries have not attracted duties in most countries, but you should check with your local officials if you are concerned about this.

Note that all of my customs forms describe the contents as 'fashion accessories'.
