Terms & Conditions
The following are the terms and conditions (these 'Terms and Conditions') of participating in the purchase of our site products or products of our sister sites. We may also refer to you as 'you' or 'your' in the possessive. "Site" refers to us. "Site" means a World Wide Web site and, depending on the context, refers either to the URL 'sapphire ice.ecrater.com' or to ANY sister site or site that you will link to or from our site.
Sapphire & Ice Studios and Serena Lee Pena reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions as needed from time to time. You agree that any such amendment will apply to you, the buyer. By accepting our quality product and paying for them, you, the buyer agrees to these amendments. We hand craft and hand manipulate all of our jewelry and most of our home goods. Everything is hand-crafted unless otherwise specified. All stones are artisan-cut, polished and tumbled, unless otherwise specified. Our crystal and gemstone home accessories and accents are NOT carved by us, however, they are hand carved by other artisans whom we purchased them from, and we DO carve and/or hand-forge our pendants, unless otherwise specified. Coloration and size of any crystal or gemstone product we offer will never be exact, or match the displayed picture exactly, however, due to natural variations in the stone. But we painstakingly choose the best quality for the price we offer. It is extremely important to us that we offer the best quality for your money.
We are in the copywriting and trademarking process now. Patents for certain products are pending, as of July of 2008. Since all our items and goods are hand-crafted, they will never be an exact replication from their photo, unless otherwise specified, nor should they be! That would defeat the purpose of a hand-crafted product!! We don't believe in mass production of our hand-crafted works. Our creations are one of a kind, with diversities to be proud of! No cookie cutters or molds here!! Even the few similar pieces we offer ALWAYS have something different to customize the look.
Custom orders are welcome and encouraged. That is our specialty. We thank you for your understanding of and appreciation for our many expressions of art. Please allow 1-2 weeks for shipping, unless you are paying via check, which requires 4 weeks. By purchasing from our site, or any of our sister sites, you attest that you understand, abide by and agree to these terms and conditions. Happy Shopping!
Cancellation and return policy
ALL shipments are INSURED and CERTIFIED in case of loss, theft or damage against shipments. Cancellations and refunds are not accepted. However, we appreciate your business and offer a 5 (five) year warranty for each purchase, to ensure your satisfaction with your purchase(s).
Postage and payment policy
Items will be shipped via USPS, FedEx or UPS. Shipping usually takes 1-2 weeks at most, unless items are paid for via check, which may take up to 4 weeks. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Payments accepted are Check, Money Order and Paypal. Bounced checks are NOT an option and NO goods will be delivered in such circumstances....NO EXCEPTIONS!
