I will have to agree with almost everyone who wrote about this subject.
Its almost 100% sure that most of the sellers will close their stores as it will be the most expensive website to sell to.

Especially those sellers that still do not have many sales. If they dont list new items all day long they are dumed to be NEVER found by buyers.

Thank you, Elizabeth and the Dawanda team, for addressing the community's concerns regarding the current issues at hand in such a professional and curteous manner. You have great patience. We are happy that you have Pay Pal as an option for payment. We weren't feeling too comfortable with the norm, that is with the bank transfer option, even though the masses in Germany use this payment method. We had heard that in the past some European sellers and buyers were having a problem using and accepting Pay Pal or rather their credit cards at shops that only offer that option. Do these issues still plague the German sellers and buyers or American sellers who have potential buyers who want to purchase from there shops or can they now shop with a little bit more ease and confidence in shops that offer this method as it is one of the most preferred payment methods on the North American Continent. Another question for you, Elizabeth, and as well the community, are German consumers who shop at Dawanda pressing the Pay Pal option a little bit more or does anyone find that they seem to be relunctant to use the Pay Pal option. It would be nice to build up there confidence by having some kind of small scale campaigne that reassures them it is one of the most efficient ways of shopping online internationally because this too could enhance sales in shops outside of Germany. Thanks for everyone time.

I am sure I'll close my shop soon. I didnt even get started yet (have only listed 8 items -from 30-so far) It seemed to me expensive the fact that you keep 5% of my sales but it was ok since you had no listing fee. This is really sad. I'm in Israel and the Euro is veryyyyy expensive.
