BeauMonde 04.10.2009 19:09I would like to be able to opt out of accepting the DaWanda voucher.
Any chance that sellers will be given the option of whether or not they wish to accept this?
LolaBellsBoutique 04.10.2009 20:12We thought that it had to be selected as a choice of payment before it would show on your page. Maybe we are missing something.
BeauMonde 05.10.2009 01:10It is the buyer that selects whether they want to use a DaWanda voucher .......... sellers were never given the choice on whether we wanted to accept vouchers as a method of payment.
LolaBellsBoutique 05.10.2009 04:23Well, in that case, it certainly should be a choice given to the seller to list or notlist that form of payment just as he/she does others especially now with the automatic confirmation, which since it is not selective yet, will include all payment forms. We guess one could just stick with the manual way of confirming orders. We do accept them glady. If it will increase the purchasing powe of the customer(not confortable with bank transfers yet). But it should be a option given to all sellers to initially list it just like other payments. One thing at time, though. The site has sooo many wonderful features and improving all the time. Oh,and thanks,BeauMonde.
BeauMonde 16.10.2009 22:28I want to opt out of the DaWanda voucher system. Why am I being forced to accept this method of payment!
The majority of my non-paid orders, the buyer chooses voucher and then never enters the code - if they even had one to begin with.
When they do enter the code, it can take DaWanda Admin anywhere for 2-6 days to verify and transfer the Paypal payment.
Silkmothspinnery 17.10.2009 14:25I sell online to make money to live on! I don't want to deal with vouchers, I don't think my local food stores will take them!
I take it from the posts I have no choice but to accept them if the buyer chooses it?
Melodygems 17.10.2009 16:58Just to put your mind at rest, when the buyer uses their vouchers, Dawanda transfer the cash amount to your account.
X
BeauMonde 17.10.2009 19:22Yes, DaWanda transfers the money to your Paypal account - supposed to happen the next day, but if they are too busy, transfer can take up to a week.
The only way for a customer to purchase a voucher is through Paypal ....... why not just pay directly to the seller with Paypal?
I am getting tired of customers clicking on pay by voucher and then not entering the code - just another non-paid order for me to deal with.
I just want this method of payment removed from my shop!!
carolmaro 20.10.2009 17:40i am having problems with dawanda voucheurs too, including never received them at all, or with 2 weeks delayed, or with the wrong amount, and when trying, both the buyer and the seller - contacting admin, still waiting for a proper response for many, many time, and on top of that i have got from the same order 2 different answers form admin. i am sorry i love dawanda, and the new improvements are being made very quickly lucky for us all, but i think sometimes, has happens to us all, when there is a lot of work, things are tough to lineup. i wish to remove this payment method.
if my client says it payed to dawanda, and i have got no records of that transaction, my credibility it's lost on the way...
need advice or help

BeauMonde 20.10.2009 19:51now I know that I am not the only one having issues with the voucher system
meherio68 20.10.2009 22:30This was also raised ont the French forum.
A seller who got the money from DaWanda by bank draft didn't get the full amount. As you may know if you have been paid that way, there is usually a commission to be paid at one end or the other when the transaction is international. Well, it seems that, in the case of that seller at least, DaWanda didn't make sure she got the full amount...
And of course, if you get your money via Paypal, you have to pay a commission as well.So it looks that with the DaWanda Voucher, non-German sellers are never going to get the full amount.
Since we may not actually opt out, it would be nice if at least the payment was indeed safe and fast...
carolmaro 21.10.2009 10:39hi:
thank you meherio68 you solved my problem, well at least figering what happended, but the complication remains about this theme:
dawanda admin tells me that the payment was made on x day and x month. i searched payments one by one between 2 months and found nothing, but i had 15 days later a bank transfer with a similar amount with less a few cents (bank comissions), which could not be from any other order. it could be just that one.
how can it be? i mean they have records of paypal payment but indeed was a bank transfer, it completely messes my organization.
i am worried about this, if it happens again often...thank you for your help!
